WHAT IS NANOBLADING?
Nanoblading is the newest most advanced form of permanent makeup and ultimate way to achieve flawless 3D brows. Nanoblading is a form of brow tattooing that implements a handheld tattoo machine tool and one very fine needle to semi-permanently lay pigment under the skin, approximating the look of actual eyebrow hairs. This creates an ultra-precise brow for a the most soft, natural, and realistic eyebrow. Body tattoos use ink while cosmetic tattoo procedures use specialized pigment to fade naturally over time. We use top of the line pigment which results in beautifully faded brows.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE IN NANOBLADING AND MICROBLADING?
In Nanoblading, Machine work "punctures". Small punctures are evenly placed in the skin utilizing a single Nano or 1RL needle. This is the smallest needle available to insure the most detailed work and 3D brow appearance.
In Microbading the technician"cuts". This is done with a blade like tool made up of a tight cluster of needles that is dragged or pulled across the skin to implant pigment.
Over time, some hair follicles stop producing hair and the hair shafts become finer. Our eyebrows are no different. Maggie is certified in both Microblading and Nanoblading, but is exclusively offering Nanoblading booking at this time. Both techniques provide extremely natural hairstrokes for a more youthful, fuller appearance.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE BOOKING

We are unable to unable to perform this cosmetic procedure if you are: Under the age of 18, pregnant, breastfeeding, currently undergoing chemotherapy, diabetic, or if you have used Accutane within the last year. A full face photo is required prior to scheduling to allow us to determine if you are a good candidate for the stroke procedure. E-mail photos to maggiemyersbeauty@gmail.com.

HOW LONG IS THE APPOINTMENT?
Appointments are two hours on average. Much of the time is spent measuring and drawing on a symmetrical set of brows and agreeing on your perfect shape and color. You will then spend 15 minutes numbing to ensure comfort throughout the procedure. The actual procedure itself takes from 30 minutes to an hour. Touch-up appointments are 1 hour long.

WHAT IS THE RECOVERY PROCESS?
Immediately following your procedure, your brows will appear to be darker and bolder in color and more sharply defined. This will last 3-4 days. Do not panic! It is normal. Swelling and redness is minimal with most clients, and will disappear with 24-48 hours. In some cases, it may last around the eyebrow area for up to 3 days, but will not prevent working or socializing. The treated area may feel a bit like a sunburn afterwards, but there should only be minimal discomfort.

HOW LONG WILL MY EYEBROWS LAST?
The treatment is semi permanent and will fade over time. Nanoblading lasts 1-2 years. How long depends on a number of factors including: Skin type (oily skin fades faster), Sun Exposure, use of daily anti-aging products, and proper following of your aftercare.

HEALING STAGES OF YOU NEW BROWS

WHAT WILL MY APPOINTMENT LOOK LIKE?

STEP 1: CONSULTATION
After determining you are a candidate
for the procedure we will set up your appointment beginning with a consultation. During the consultation, we ask clients to show us any photos they like, don’t like and/or how they normally draw on their eyebrows to get an idea of the client’s unique style.

STEP 2: SHAPE
We will then measure all the points of the client’s face with a ruler to ensure symmetry and precision. Once we find what we need to make a perfect pair of eyebrows, we will begin designing
based on the client’s natural eyebrow hair and their desired look. This is all done with a pencil first to ensure that the shape can be adjusted, if needed, before the procedure starts.

STEP 3: COLOR
Once you approve the shape drawn, a color is selected among the artist and client. We will swatch colors on the forehead and decide the best match together to ensure we match your natural eyebrow color and your unique style.

STEP 4: NUMBING
In order to ensure your utmost comfort, we apply a topical numbing cream for 10 minutes before your procedure. We place it on top of the outline and cover it with wrap to seal in the numbing as much as possible.

STEP 5: NANOBLADING
Only after the client has approved the shape, color and the numbing is completed, then we proceed with the nanoblading procedure. That's when the magic happens. We will open a sterile needle in front of the client and start the nanoblading procedure. Pigment is then implanted into the skin in a form of hair strokes to give it the illusion of real fine hair. Numbing is applied throughout the procedure to ensure the utmost comfort.

STEP 6: REVEAL
Once the nanoblading procedure is complete, the big reveal happens. We show our client their new beautiful set of eyebrows and ask the client if they would like to make any adjustments before they leave. You will head out the door with fresh brows and a complete aftercare kit.

STEP 7: TOUCH UP
All nanoblading/ digital microblading is a multisession process, meaning, touch ups are necessary. Think of this as the second coat of nail polish, the first one is alright, but the second one seals the deal. This session is done 1-2 months after the first appointment. Waiting a few weeks gives the skin sample time to heal so that when the touch up is performed it will heal much better.

STEP 8 : COLOR BOOST
Make an appointment as needed to keep those brows wake up ready! We will plan to see you in 1-2 years!
